Comment: I LOVE this coat. It fits great. Multi-style, as well -- you can achieve a Victorian look, or even a pirate look. The lack of pockets kind of does suck, but I just carry a bag with me. I purchased it with the blouse shown, and the effect is astonishing. The shiny buttons on it compliment the style -- definitely not gaudy at all. It also looks good with only the first few latches together.

Comment: I bought this coat in black last winter and have worn it many times since getting it. Every time I wear it I have recieved many compliments from all age groups. It looks great when you are dressed up, but also looks great with black straight leg jeans for a more casual gothic look (fantastic for concerts). The sizing is accurate if you use their size chart, and it definitely is flattering on us plus size women. It is that hard to find ultra trendy. I have just ordered the Mulberry this year because it is such a great coat.

Summary: Nice design & fabric, strange sizing
Comment: I fell in love with this coat when I saw the picture. I was a bit uncertain about getting it when I read the reviews citing strange sizing. But I was too intrigued to resist. By Newport News' sizing chart, I was 3 sizes bigger than what I actually wear. If you've got a bit more sand in your hourglass than the gal in the photo, I'd recommend using their chart, and if your numbers fall between two sizes, order the smaller size rather than the larger. I think I probably would've been able to give it a 5 star rating had I done so.

Summary: Lovely coat for the price.
Comment: I really love this coat I wear it often and get a lot of attention because of it. It's unique and thats what I like about it. It is meant to look like a old fashion riding coat. Perhaps 18th century, victorian ish. So don't expect it to be this amazing modern coat or something. I bought a size 16 and it fits me like a glove. It is definately not ugly at all. The only issue is the buttons don't like to stay on well, I keep having to sew them back on. Though the material is nice and it flows just great in the wind. It's a sexy coat. I also bought the flounce white shirt that she wears under it. Makes the coat even more awesome.
