Summary: Love these " cords"!
Comment: These cords were a surprise. To be honest, they are more of a WONDERFUL stretch velvet than cords. Don't freak out! There is no weird nelvet sheen (at least on the light colors) and the stretch is just enough for comfort (and slight weight gains), but you won't look like you are wearing velvet leggings or yoga pants. These are pants with structure, strength, and stretch!!

Comment: Very soft and velvety. Uncut corduroy is not supposed to have the ridges that are often seen in traditional corduroy pants. Size is mostly true to fit - may be a little large in the hips but still looks good. I get complements on these every time I wear them.

Comment: Jeanstar Women's Morgan Uncut Cord Pant I just bought two pair of these. I have been hunting all over for good fitting cords. These were perfect. Everyone has high waisted ones, but as I am short waisted, only lower rise fit well. I often have to buy junior sizes to get the low rise, but these fit perfectly, and the little bit of stretch feels good. Corduroys are my favorite Fall/Winter pants, soft and comfy.

Summary: Runs about a size small
Comment: This is a nicely cut pant. It has good stretch and the fabric is nice. It is a narrow wale corduroy which does have a velvet-like appearance, rather than the traditional wide-wale fabric. This is more flattering to rounder figures. I was rather disappointed with the fit however, because I also ordered the light-weight cotton trouser in the exact same size and it is very loose and slightly on the long side for a medium length. These seem to be more true to length (shorter) but tight for the size marked. If you like these pants, you will be pleased if you order at least a size larger than you normally wear, and expect a fitted, tailored look.
